We are fortunate that Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape isn't as affected by pollution as some other places, however there might be times where you need to report pollution incidents in the National Landscape.
There also may be other incidents in the National Landscape where dead or stranded animals need to be reported.
Fly Tipping
To report fly tipping, contact the appropriate local authority:

Reporting a dead or injured animal
The Wildlife Trusts has a good summary of what to do if you find a dead animal - What to do if you find a dead Animal (The Wildlife Trust).
Injured animals should be reported to the RSPCA, and to the police for certain animals (find out more on the .gov website).

Foreshore
Items or animals washed up on the foreshore in the National Landscape may need to be reported to other agencies or authorities:
Animals
Dead animals on the foreshore should be reported to the relevant local authority (see above).
Dead cetaceans (dolphins porpoises or whales) should be reported to CSIP - the Cetacean Stranding Investigation Programme
Dead birds need to be reported to DEFRA due to the risk of Avian Influenza - Report a dead bird to DEFRA
Live cetaceans (dolphins, porpoises or whales) should be reported as soon as possible to the British Divers Marine Rescue Hotline - Report to British Divers Marine Recue Hotline
Pollutants
Pollutants in waterways, including the estuary, such as unknown chemicals, raw sewage need to be reported to the Environment Agency - Report Water Pollution incidents to the Environment Agency
Planning Enforcement Issues
Concerns which relate to private property (e.g. untidy land affecting a local amenity) should be reported to the relevant local authority:

Public Rights of Way
Any issues with Public Rights of Way should be submitted to the relevant local authority:
