Walking the Landscape: Historic Yealand

We're taking a walk of ca. 5.5km around the Yealands, exploring some of the historic and other landscape features.

This route is of moderate difficulty, using paths with uneven ground, inclines and stiles.

No dogs permitted - we ask that you do not bring dogs on this walk.

Please bring:

• suitable clothing, including layers and a waterproof jacket
• water / drinks
• food (either snacks for energy or a pack up) - and remember to have a big breakfast!
• sunscreen (if sunny)
• walking boots
• spare socks (just in case)
• a phone
• walking poles (if usually used)

We will be meeting at The New Inn in Yealand Conyers (immediately by a bus stop for services 49,51&552), who have kindly offered parking on the understanding that our walkers will pop in for a drink after the walk has finished - don't forget your wallet.

This is a joint Arnside/Silverdale Landscape Trust and Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape event.

This event is free for Landscape Trust members - membership costs just £15 a year.
